Steven Singer Jewelers Debuts 20th Anniversary 9-11 Never Forget Pin and Fundraiser

Steve Singer Jewelers remembers and acknowledges the 20th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks with the release of a special anniversary edition of the 9-11 Never Forget Pin on sale now for only ten dollars. Every dollar from sales of the pin will be donated to The Garden of Reflection, Pennsylvania's official 9-11 memorial. This year's pin is bright silver in color, and it measures an inch by an inch. The design features a special 20th Anniversary red ribbon. This is the last and final year to purchase the pin - and show you honor and remember all that were lost on September 11, 2001. This annual fundraiser originally started in partnership with talk-radio show star Michael Smerconish from SiriusXM/CNN back in 2009. Since then, pin sales have generated over $500,000 for The Garden of Reflection, as well as other charities. The pin is now on sale on the Steven Singer website and it is available in the store. For more information and to place an order, visit www.IHateStevenSinger.com. Shipping is free and paid for entirely by Steven Singer himself to raise even more money for the charity.

“Since September 11, 2001, I, like most Americans, felt helpless and very much wanted to help make a difference in some small way,” says Singer. “I feel so blessed, and so lucky to be part of this. We play such a tiny, tiny, part in the memorials, I can't even tell you how lucky we are. Steven Singer Jewelers remembers those lost in the 9-11 tragedy."

Steven Singer Jewelers' 9-11 Never Forget pin dates back to fall of 2009. As an advertiser on Michael Smerconish’s talk-radio show on SiriusXM/CNN, Singer created special-edition commemorative Flight 93 pins for everyone on the host’s bus trip to the plane’s crash site on September 11, 2009. In the lead up to the site visit, Smerconish made an off-hand on-air comment about him wishing more pins could be made available for those other than the people booked on the bus tour. Singer responded by creating the 9-11 remembrance pin design on the spot and began a large-scale campaign to spread the word. All of the profits for each pin have since gone to 9-11 charities, including this year’s charity, The Garden of Reflection. For a special update to the original design, Singer has added a special 20th Anniversary red ribbon for 2021. The pin will be sold at the original price of ten dollars.

“I’m proud of my association of two decades with Steven Singer selling pins to raise money for 9/11 charities,” said Smerconish. “That these pin sales to my radio listeners have enabled more than $500,000 in donations to charity is a tribute to Steven’s character, work ethic and heart."

This year represents the last and final year for the pin fundraiser - and for Singer, he hopes it is one of the best years yet for the cause. In this final push, Singer and Smerconish aim to fully fund The Garden of Reflection in perpetuity so that the memory of those lost will never be forgotten. If Steven and his staff do reach this lofty goal, at only $10 per pin, it’ll be a monumental achievement.

The Garden of Reflection 9-11 Memorial was created to remember and honor loved ones and all 2,973 killed on September 11, 2001. It is situated in Memorial Park amid the natural beauty of Historical Bucks County farmland in Lower Makefield Township. The Memorial designed by Yardley architect Liuba Lashchyk AIA invites visitors on a walking Memorial Journey symbolizing “After Darkness…Light”. This Memorial Journey leads from sorrowful reminders of tragedy and grief towards luminous symbols of Hope, Peace and Celebration of Life.

The Garden is a physical homage to the 2,973 lives lost, with special recognition of the 18 Bucks County Victims. Within the 62-acre Memorial Park, The Garden occupies 2.5 acres surrounded by a 2-acre Oak Garden Arboretum. Construction of the memorial was completed in time for a dedication ceremony on the fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001; an honorable feat for an honorable tribute.
