Manayunk Arts Festival to Host Paint My Ride Art Competition and Immersive Experience
/Manayunk Development Corporation announces an exciting new immersive and interactive addition to the 37th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival this weekend. On day one of the festival, Saturday, June 27th, Carrera's Drive Your Story 70th Anniversary Activation will stop by Philly on its national tour. They will host an epic paint battle in the middle of Main Street Manayunk between two of our most talented and famous local artists, Jenna Morello and Alloyius McIlwaine.
Drive Your Story is Carrera’s live 70th anniversary activation, built to bring together art, speed, and self-expression across seven cities. At each stop, two local artists compete live by transforming a vintage Carrera car, turning each event into a city-specific moment tied to the brand’s legacy and culture. Each city selects one winning artist, and every city winner moves on to the national vote on CarreraWorld.com. The tour builds awareness, drives traffic, and connects the in-person event experience with digital voting, content, and the full Carrera story.

Manayunk Development Corporation is excited to celebrate the 37th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The tradition of being the tri-state area’s largest outdoor juried art festival - and the largest in Pennsylvania - will continue as Main Street hosts approximately 300 different local and nationally known artists and crafters.
This year, the Manayunk Arts Festival is embracing a fresh vibe aimed at younger audiences, with activations like Baby Face Studios student sales, the Emerging Artists tent, and quirky pop-up experiences like the Funk Shop by Lucky’s Last Chance - bringing new energy and a contemporary feel to this historic event.
Art and the Manayunk Arts Festival itself is always evolving, showcasing exciting new artists alongside many longtime favorites that festivalgoers have come to love.
Over 100,000 collectors, buyers, browsers and designers visit Main Street for this iconic event. In addition to art and crafts, visitors can enjoy food and drink vendors, merchant specials, live art demonstrations, and much more.
