Parks On Tap Traveling Beer Garden Heads To South Philadelphia to FDR Park

Parks on Tap announces that Philadelphia’s famous traveling beer garden is once again on the move - with a new location just in time for fall. Starting this Friday at 4:00pm, Parks on Tap is heading to South Philadelphia to bring a 50,000 square foot beer garden to FDR Park across from the public golf course, at 1500 Pattison Avenue. This new location will offer everything that fans of Parks on Tap have grown to expect, while serving as the perfect compliment for the abundance of activities ranging from relaxation to recreation that FDR Park offers. Patrons will be able to enjoy fresh food, beers on tap, wine and non-alcoholic beverages set in an outdoor environment with comfortable chairs and clean restrooms. FDR Park will feature the same proven health and safety protocols that have already been launched at both other sites, including additional cleaning measures, ability for contact tracing, and other procedures as prescribed by the City of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania.

Restaurateur Shafi Gaffar announces the grand opening of Kurry Shack at 2015 E. Moyamensing Avenue on November 1, 2019. Kurry Shack is a Halal fast casual BYO that serves homestyle traditional Northern Indian cuisine led by Chef Abdur Masud.
