Morgan's Pier Presents Fall Fest on the Waterfront with Pumpkin Carving, Fall Decor, New Menus

Sweater weather is back - and so is the return of one of the most celebrated Fall Festivals in the region! Waterfront dining at Philadelphia's largest outdoor restaurant venue will continue into the fall season. Morgan's Pier Fall Fest returns for the seventh season from September 24 to October 30, 2021. Head to the expansive dining destination as it converts into an autumn wonderland - with five more weeks of stunning views, entertainment, new fall food and cocktails, seasonal beers and much more. Morgan's Pier Fall Fest will operate Fall Fest seven days a week this year due to popular demand. Fall Fest hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, from 4:00pm to 2:00am, Friday to Sunday, Noon to 2:00am, weather permitting. Reservations are recommended for table service; walk-ins are welcome for all bar areas. Reservations can be made by using the Resy app or visiting www.morganspier.com. Morgan's Pier is located at 221 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia PA 19123. Meter and free street parking are located nearby along Columbus Boulevard and in the nearby neighborhoods.

For 2021, Morgan's Pier Fall Fest will feature striking views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Delaware River, plus the addition of twinkling lights, fall flowers and foliage, carved themed pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks and other festive surprises.

From the kitchen, the team has compiled a flavorful menu rooted in the spirit of season. Old-fashion goodness can be found in the form of buttermilk biscuits with black pepper gravy and honey butter, with the spicy mac ‘n cheese prepared with cavatappi pasta, cooper sharp and herb breadcrumbs giving a modern twist to the feel-good classic. One of this season’s can’t miss menu items is the brisket cheesesteak, composed of shaved smoked brisket, onions, devilishly delicious long hots, and cooper sharp cheese stacked together on a seeded long roll. Non-meat eaters can equally rejoice in this menu selection, as the team will be offering a smoked mushroom version of this scrumptious sandwich.

At the bar, warm up with some cozy comforts in the form of this season’s warm cocktail menu, featuring a Spiked S’mores which includes vanilla vodka, hot chocolate, honey cinnamon syrup, topped with gooey marshmallows and drizzled with chocolate syrup and graham cracker rim. It would not be a true Fall menu without Pumpkin Spice, which guests can indulge in with an adult-twist. The Spiked Pumpkin Latte will include Tito’s vodka, pumpkin puree, RumChata, and coffee. As always, Morgan's Pier will show off their proclivity to local brews in their season selections, including Mainstay Octoberfest, 2SP Baby Bob Stout, and Troegs Lucky Holler Hazy IPA.

For vibes and entertainment, Morgan’s Pier will deck itself in quintessential fall décor including haystacks, seasonal flowers, foliage, and of course pumpkins! Guests are invited to pick their perfect pumpkin from the Pier’s Pumpkin Patch for only $5/$10, with carving kits provided for an idealistic Fall afternoon on the riverfront. Additional entertainment, including live acoustic music, and DJ entertainment is also scheduled every weekend on Thursday nights, Friday happy hour and night, Saturday day and night, and Sunday day.

Oktoberfest, an afternoon of free-flowing beer, pretzels, and live music entertainment, is scheduled to return after last fall’s brief hiatus on October 9th from 2 PM – 6 PM. For only $45, guests receive an open beer bar, unlimited soft pretzels, German-inspired food specials, live music from the local band Dub-C Daddy, and a Morgan’s Pier stein. Tickets will be limited! Follow @morganspier on Facebook and Instagram or visit www.morganspier.com for ticket announcements.

The fun isn’t reserved for only the weekends this Autumn. Bring your furry friends down to Morgan’s Pier every Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, for a charity Yappy Hour! Morgan’s Pier, with their partners at Tito’s Handmade Vodka, will donate a portion of proceeds from the Yappy Hour menu to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

The entire 10th season of Morgan’s Pier ends with their annual Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 30th. Hosted by Brittany Lynn, the Don of the Philly Drag Mafia, guests are encouraged to help suck the bar dry as Morgan’s Pier prepares to go into hibernation until the Spring. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale mid-October, starting at $55. Entry includes admission to the event, all-you-can-drink from 9:00pm to 2:00am, musical entertainment by DJ Menace Cartel, free hot dogs, and ability to enter the cash prize costume contest, with winners for both individual and group ensembles. Now, that’s a scary good deal!
