Valley Forge Music Fair Announces Summer Concerts with Daughtry, Dr. John, Phil Vassar, Charlie Daniels Band

Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) announces a full summer concert schedule for Valley Forge Music Fair that includes a huge Memorial Day weekend concert from Daughtry and rounds out the rest of the summer with a who’s who of living legends. With a full line up of everything from country acts like Phil Vassar on May 13th and The Charlie Daniels Band on July 8th, to Grammy nominated rockers like Daughtry (featuring American Idol and The Passion’s Chris Daughtry) on May 29th or the soulful sounds of Dr. John on June 3th, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Daughtry will perform to the Resort’s largest audience of 3,000 people in the Event Center. All other shows will be held in The Venue (Waterford Ballroom). All shows are on sale now at Ticketmaster and start at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:00pm.

Country singer/songwriter Phil Vassar kicks things off on Friday, May 13, 2016 as he performs hits like Just Another Day in Paradise, My Next Thirty Years and more. As a singer/songwriter, Vassar has hit the Top 5 seven times with songs like Carlene, Last Day of My Life and American Child and topped the charts with In A Real Love and the perennial favorite Just Another Day in Paradise. Known as one of Nashville’s top tunesmiths, his songs other artists have taken to #1 include My Next Thirty Years by Tim McGraw, She’s Right On The Money by Alan Jackson, and Jo Dee Messina’s Bye, Bye and I’m Alright. New artist David Nail had a hit with Phil’s The Sound of a Million Dreams, which Billboard named the #1 song in their Top 10 Country Songs of 2012. Next up, Daughtry will officially kick off summer for Valley Forge Music Fair with their Memorial Day weekend concert. Since this will be Daughtry’s first U.S. tour stop after their U.K. tour, Valley Forge Music Fair plans to welcome Daughtry home in a big way on Sunday, May 29, 2016.  For the first time ever, they will be offering general admission standing room only in Valley Forge Music Fair’s largest venue, The Event Center, which can accommodate up to 3,000 fans.
