Camden Special Services District (CSSD) has opened the RECtangle Pocket Park, a new public parklet on Downtown Camden’s Market Street commercial corridor that turns a large, previously unused parcel into a space for everyday gathering, pop-up events and community programming. CSSD staff and partners were joined by Camden Mayor Victor G. Carstarphen, local dignitaries, community leaders, sponsors and representatives from area colleges and hospitals for a ribbon cutting and grand opening that featured remarks, live music, tours, and food and drink from Downtown Camden restaurants and businesses.
