Renault Winery Celebrates America's Birthday with Fireworks, Country Music Fest, 5K Run

Renault Winery and Resort celebrates America's birthday with a two-day, all-day celebration this Saturday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 3rd. Music fans are invited to the first-ever Renault Winery 1st Annual Country Music Festival with two days of live music and bands, multiple stages, wine, food trucks, family fun and other surprises. The line-up includes Scotty Testerman Trio, Brian Corcoran, Warren Montgomery Band, Parker Barrow Project, Jess Zimmerman Band, Lisa Bouchelle, Kenny Curcio and Garrett Shultz Band. Admission to the festival grounds for each day is only $10 per person. Next, Renault presents the first-ever Red, Wine and Blue 5K Run and Red, Wine and Blue Kids' Run on Sunday morning, starting at 8:30am. On Sunday night, look to the skies above Renault for an Independence Day themed fireworks show, free with admission to the music festival, or $10 per car to watch from the Renault parking lot. All events take place at Renault Winery and Resort, and the new Renault Winery festival grounds, located at 72 Bremen Ave, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215.

Glu Hospitality invites you to get frozen in Northern Liberties with the debut of the city's newest and most lavish Igloo experience, plus the return of Princess Brunches at the Igloos, and a brand-new heated cocktail garden. Starting this week, partners Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu bring a new holiday and winter experience to Northern Liberties Restaurant Row with the debut of enchanting and weather-proof sparkling Igloos at Figo Ristorante (1033 N. 2nd Street). The Igloos at Figo are neary 12 feet wide, seat up to eight people, and feature over a hundred clear sustainable panels, a table-top fire pit, festive decor, and a view of the night stars and the new Northern Liberties Christmas Tree. The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will once again return to Dilworth Park from Saturday, November 20, 2021 to Saturday, January 1, 2022. Dozens of artisans, designers and small businesses from the greater Philadelphia region will offer decorations, fashion and gifts inside white, festively lit tents. Visitors will have the unique chance to shop gifts and products that can’t be found at a usual shopping mall - including artwork, home goods, ornaments, sweets, toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations and more. Oldestone Restaurant Makes Grand Debut In New Hope's Former Home Of Marsha Brown's

Owners Wilfer Naranjo, Michael Sklar, Gaspar Ferrara and Vincent Ferrara announce the grand opening of Oldestone restaurant at 15 S. Main Street, New Hope, in the internationally recognized 1872 old stone church. The space was the former home of Marsha Brown's restaurant, which closed at the start of the pandemic. Marsha Brown herself passed the baton and her legacy to the new owners, that include Naranjo who worked for her in 2003 as a food runner. Naranjo's story comes full circle from food runner to restaurant owner, as he and the new owners debut their new concept for the iconic space. Oldestone is an elegant and refined steak and seafood restaurant, featuring New American Cuisine by Executive Chef Seth Wheeler. Oldestone will also feature several signature creole dishes from Marsha Brown's recipe collection. The 9,000 square foot space features a main bar, lounge and private dining room on the first floor, a grand dining room on the second level, and a third level in the former balcony overlooking the dining room that is now a speakeasy, bar and lounge with a stage for live music.

Philadelphia Theatre Company Launches Citywide Campaign to Support Sanitation Workers

Philadelphia Theatre Company is celebrating essential workers and literally talking trash throughout the run of their Co-World Premiere of Lindsay Joelle’s The Garbologists. PTC is supporting the unsung heroes of the pandemic with a free performance special for sanitation workers and their families on Thursday, November 11th at 2:30. Starting the same day, PTC will launch a citywide campaign to encourage residents to support their sanitation workers through the distribution of 10,000 #supportsantiationworkers stickers for recycling and garbage bins. These will be available through local civic associations, at special events, and at the PTC box office. The sticker used exclusive artwork from noted local artist Alloyius Mcilwaine, who is also creating and debuting five original art pieces using Philadelphia city recycling bins as a canvas. The pieces will be on display in the PTC lobby and auctioned off during the run of the show. The artwork will be available for viewing in the front windows of the Suzanne Roberts Theatre lobby starting on opening night.
