East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District announces the return of “Up on a Roof - The Chefs of Passyunk at Bok Bar” on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Twenty chefs and restaurateurs from Philadelphia’s restaurant row will celebrate the neighborhood's thriving culinary scene with a cocktail party and benefit on top of Bok Bar (800 Mifflin) in the former Bok Technical High School. Guests will enjoy one of the city’s most picturesque views while enjoying cuisine from top chefs like Nicholas Elmi, Joncarl Lachman, Todd Wentz, Chris Kearse, Lee Styer, Lynn Rinaldi and others. Philadelphia Theatre Company kicks off its 2017-2018 festival-style theatre season with the world premiere of Ruggedly Jewish: An Evening With Bob Garfield. Garfield’s crazy-quilt, hilarious odyssey is a search for self: the American self, the suddenly-emerging threatened self, and his own baffled self – a secular Jew. The Lower Merion native, and the co-host of public radio’s On The Media, returns to his roots by launching his one-man show right here.  Revolution Taco And 33rd Street Hospitality Chefs To Partner With Neshaminy Creek On New Kitchen At Borough Brewhouse In Jenkintown

Executive Chefs Mike Sultan and Carolyn Nguyen of Revolution Taco, 33rd Street Hospitality Catering and Say Cheese Philly announce a new partnership with Neshaminy Creek's Brewing Company. The duo will debut the 33rd Street Hospitality Kitchen at Neshaminy's newly opened Borough Brewhouse (208 York Rd.) starting on July 5th. The kitchen will serve up a full menu of upscale pub fare to pair with the 30 selections of drafts pouring, including 6 drafts that will be made on location. Food selections will include new dishes designed specially for the Jenkintown kitchen, as well as several signature dishes from the duo's other restaurant and food trucks. Kitchen service will launch on July 5thstarting with dinner service Wednesday through Sundays, with expanded hours and days of operation in the fall. Table reservations for the 149 seat bar and dining room will be available later this summer.
