11th Annual Greenfest Philly Returns with Rock Wall, Edible Bugs, Prius Prime Drives

Clean Air Council’s 11th Annual Greenfest Philly presented by Toyota Hybrids returns to Headhouse Square (2nd and South Streets) on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The tri-state region’s largest environmental festival and tastier than ever - with new cooking demonstrations with Miss Rachel’s Pantry, P’unk Burger and Revolution Taco, plus organic food vendors, free coffee from Joe Coffee, outdoor beer garden and edible bugs. Festivities will also include live music, group bike rides, free adult and kids’ yoga, hybrid vehicle test drives, handmade and green shopping, MOM’s Organic Market Kids’ Corner and a twenty-five foot rock wall. The Ann Bartram Carr Garden is the result of a transformative $2.7-million project and marks the first major garden restoration at Bartram’s Garden in nearly a century. Bartram’s Garden, including the new Ann Bartram Carr Garden, is free to those who wish to explore on their own from dawn to dusk. Philadelphia Celebrates Earth Day with Clean Air Council's 35th Run for Clean Air Presented by Toyota Hybrids

Clean Air Council presents Philadelphia’s largest Earth Day celebration with the 35th Run for Clean Air Presented by Toyota Hybrids. Nearly 2,500 participants are expected to run and walk on Saturday, April 16, 2016, starting at 7:00am, outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Participants can choose from four races (5K Run, PHLY 10K Run, 3K Walk, Kids’ fun run) while family and friends cheer them on. Afterwards, enjoy Earth Day at a special open-air festival in front of the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art featuring an eco beer garden, food and drink, games, vendors, music and interactive displays. Online registration has closed, but in-person registration is still available on the day of the run, as well as during in-person packet pick-ups on Friday April 15, from 10:00am to 6:00pm at the Clean Air Council office, 135 S 19th St, Ste. 300 (19th and Walnut).
